Register: 3rd Annual Conference of Metagenomics and Metadesign of Subways and Urban Biomes (MetaSUB) International Consortium

We are excited to announce the MetaSUB International Consortium’s 3rd Annual Conference on urban metagenomics to be held in Stockholm, Sweden at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and Stockholm University from July 18-20, 2017. The conference is co-hosted by Weill Cornell Medicine and the Wenner-Gren Institute, Stockholm University.

Registration for the meeting is here: http://metasub.org/metasub-2017-conference-registration-form/

The conference will convene established research scientists and junior scientists to share an assortment of computational methods and tools to analyze the sequenced data from additional pilot studies and our first Global City Sampling Day dataset from 2016.

We will also be collaborating with the 16th Annual International Conference on Critical Assessment of Massive Data Analysis (CAMDA) on July 22-23, 2017 in Prague, Czech Republic. If you are interested in partaking in the MetaSUB CAMDA Challenge, please click here!

This year, we acknowledge support from the Stockholm City Council (SLL), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Jeff Zhu and the Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC), the Irma T. Hirschl and Monique Weill-Caulier Charitable Trusts, the WorldQuant Foundation, the Bert L and N Kuggie Vallee Foundation, and support from the National Institutes of Health (F31GM111053 and R25EB020393).
